FROM YOUNG PLAYER
TO PROFESSIONAL

The Baz’n Camp project was created in the end of 2017,in connection with the player agency BAZ’N SPORT directed by Nassim Baziz, a certified NBA agent.

As a matter of fact, the camp allows young players to discover the requirements a professional athlete must meet, by interacting with the agency’s professional players during the camp. ut also, by sharing knowledges, and bringing somequalified trainers coming from different countries.

This collaboration also allows us to have some people specialized in the search of prospects during the camp.

In order to accomplish the transition from young athlete to a professional one, a tough mindset requiring constant effort is needed, which the camp wants to bring to the players, with the image of our sponsor Michael Pietrus.

The sponsor of the camp Michael Pietrus is a French player who came from Guadeloupe to play for the youth program of Pau.

Michael Pietrus got the chance to play many times for the French national Team (gold medal with the U18, bronze medal with the U20 and bronze medal with the senior team). He then went to the NBA, got drafted in 11th place, same years as Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony (a record at the time for a French player). In 10 NBA seasons, he got the chance to play against the Los Angeles Lakers from Kobe Bryant during the NBA finals.

He is a role model, especially when it comes to the effort and the work ethic that he had, which can only be a great example for players going through the transition of young player to professional athlete.

Today, the Baz’n Camp project is known and recognized in the basketball industry, welcoming young players from the whole world. The main goal is of course to work on the fundamentals of the game with foreign coaches, bringing a different vision of basketball. But what we also want to bring to this camp is a cultural diversity and a mentality of effort in all participants.
