2. Participation Conditions

This authorization certifies that the participant is physically fit for the demanding activities involved in basketball, as per the recommendations of their healthcare provider.
  • Participants, or their legal representatives, acknowledge the risks associated with participating in BAZ’N CAMP activities, including physical injuries. By signing these GTC, they release the association from any liability for injuries occurring before, during, or after the activities.

3. Image Rights Authorization

Participants, or their legal representatives, authorize BAZ’N CAMP to store, disclose, publish, distribute, or use images (photos and videos) taken during the camps. This authorization is granted for a period of 10 years from acceptance of these GTC, on any medium, including the internet and press, for any use deemed necessary by the association. Participants transfer exclusive reproduction and representation rights to the association free of charge.

4. Product Prices

The prices of the Products are indicated on the website in euros (€) and dollars ($), including all taxes.

In accordance with Article 19 of the Law of July 13, 1992, BAZ’N CAMP undertakes to ensure the proper execution of contractual obligations. • No refund requests will be accepted in the event of injury or illness occurring during the camp.

In the event of payment by credit card, the fees related to the use of the card will not be refundable and will be added to the cancellation fees previously mentioned.

8. Duration

For U.S. camps, the indicated duration refers to the total number of days over which services are provided, starting from the flight departure to the return. The first and last days are dedicated to travel. No refunds will be issued for shortened trips or unused services.

9. Program Documents

BAZ’N CAMP will provide all necessary program documents, including schedules and logistics, via email or mail no later than 5 days before the camp starts.

10. Key Product Features

Key features of the programs are detailed in online product descriptions and order summaries.

11. Air Transport & Delays

  • Liability in the Event of Delay or Cancellation:

The BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or other disruptions of flights operated by airlines. Transportation conditions are governed by the terms and conditions of the relevant airline. In the event of a flight delay or cancellation, the BAZ’N CAMP association will do its utmost to assist participants in managing the consequences, but cannot be held responsible for any additional costs that may arise (accommodation, meals, etc.).

  • Program Changes:

In the event of a flight delay or cancellation, the BAZ’N CAMP association reserves the right to modify the camp program to adapt to the situation. No compensation may be claimed by participants for any resulting program changes.

  • Participant Responsibility:

Participants are responsible for being present at the designated meeting place and time for departure. In the event of a no-show or a delay caused by the participant, the BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible, and no refund will be issued.

  • Travel Insurance:

Participants are strongly advised to take out travel insurance covering delays, cancellations, and other incidents related to air travel.

12. Liability

The BAZ’N CAMP association strives to select reliable service providers (transportation, accommodation, catering, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of the camps. However, in the event of any problem or failure on the part of these service providers (such as delays, cancellations, loss of luggage, accommodation conditions, etc.), the BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible for the resulting consequences.

The liability of BAZ’N CAMP is limited to the proper organization of the camp as a whole and does not extend to specific shortcomings of independent service providers. Any claims relating to services provided by these third parties must be addressed directly to the providers concerned.

13. Car Accident Liability

Participants, or their legal representatives, agree to use public transportation or association vehicles to travel to the locations of activities scheduled as part of the camp.

The BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible for any car accident causing bodily injury or material damage occurring during the use of a vehicle owned by BAZ’N CAMP, a vehicle rented by a member of BAZ’N CAMP, or a vehicle owned by a member of BAZ’N CAMP. Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle—whether a member of BAZ’N CAMP or a participant—cannot be held liable for such accidents within the context of travel organized by BAZ’N CAMP.

Participants acknowledge and agree that, in the event of an accident occurring under these circumstances, financial and legal liability will be determined by the applicable insurance policies, and not by the BAZ’N CAMP association or the vehicle’s driver.

Participants and their legal representatives are strongly advised to take out personal insurance covering risks related to vehicle travel, including civil liability, bodily injury, and material damage.

14. Personal Insurance Recommendation

Although the BAZ’N CAMP association provides insurance for participants covering certain risks during the camps and travel, participants are strongly advised to take out additional individual insurance. This insurance should include coverage for accidents, repatriation, medical expenses, cancellation, loss of luggage, and other incidents that may occur during the stay. The BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible for costs or consequences related to events not covered by the collective insurance arranged by the association.

15. Civil Liability Insurance

Participants, or their legal representatives, certify that they are beneficiaries of a personal civil liability insurance policy covering risks related to their participation in activities offered by the BAZ’N CAMP association, including travel, accidents, and any damage that may occur during the camp. This insurance must cover civil liability for damage caused to third parties, as well as personal injuries.

The BAZ’N CAMP association cannot be held responsible for material or bodily damage suffered by participants or third parties that is not covered by this personal insurance. Participants agree to provide, upon request, proof of their civil liability insurance coverage before the start of the camp.

16. Conduct & Expulsion

Participants, or their legal representatives, agree that any behavior disrupting the proper running of the camp may result in dismissal without entitlement to a refund. Interruption of the stay due to injury or illness does not entitle the participant to any refund.

17. Organized Outings

articipants, or their legal representatives, agree to take part in the weekly outing organized by BAZ’N CAMP, notably to the Calanques, the beach, and the city center (Paris, Marseille, and Santa Barbara). This activity takes place during the daytime each week of the camp.

18. Emergency Medical Care

Participants, or their legal representatives, grant full authority to BAZ’N CAMP, through its director and its staff/monitors, to make any necessary decisions in the event of a medical emergency (surgery, X-ray, ultrasound, anesthesia, medical treatment). Participants will assume full financial responsibility for any expenses incurred and will reimburse the association at the end of the stay.

19. Liability for Lost Keys and Cleaning Fees

Participants, or their legal representatives, agree to reimburse BAZ’N CAMP a flat fee of €90 in the event of lost keys to the provided accommodation, to cover replacement costs. They also agree to pay €50 in cleaning fees if the room is returned in an insufficiently clean condition.

20. Administrative Formalities

The various administrative and health formalities required for participation in the camp, such as obtaining passports, ESTA, visas, vaccinations, or any other required authorization, are the responsibility of the participant (or their legal representatives) alone. The participant must inquire with the relevant administrative authorities about the specific formalities applicable before departure.

In case the necessary documents or authorizations (passport, ESTA, visa, vaccinations, etc.) are not obtained, the association BAZ'N CAMP cannot be held responsible for the participant’s inability to attend the camp. No refund will be given in these circumstances, and the full amount due will remain payable.

21. Modification by the Participant

Any request to modify your order must be made by email to this address: contact@bazncamp.com. BAZ'N CAMP will reply via email, confirming the modification request and informing you of any applicable fees.

Once you accept the modification and pay the corresponding fees, you will receive an email confirmation of the change. If you do not receive a confirmation email from BAZ'N CAMP, the modification has not been processed. It is your responsibility to ensure the receipt of the confirmation email. If not received, please contact us by email at contact@bazncamp.com or by phone at +33749672251 or +19095684530 to follow up on the modification.

22. Cancellation by the Organizer

The participant will not be entitled to any compensation if the trip or training camp is canceled due to force majeure circumstances, recurrent weather or natural events (monsoon, cyclone, etc.), or any other situation that may prevent the provision of certain services for safety reasons.

23. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or within a certain period. Therefore, registrations for the training camps organized by BAZ'N CAMP, whether in France or the United States, are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Any registration is final after order validation and payment.

This clause is meant to inform participants clearly about the absence of a right of withdrawal, which is essential to avoid misunderstandings or disputes.

24. Legal Guarantee of Conformity and Against Hidden Defects

In accordance with legal provisions, the BAZ'N CAMP association reminds consumers that they are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles L217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code, as well as the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code. However, these guarantees only apply to physical products that may be sold by the association. Services, such as the training camps, are not covered by these guarantees, but BAZ'N CAMP commits to providing services as described and in line with the reasonable expectations of participants.

25. Handling Complaints

Complaints can be addressed to the Seller using the contact details provided in the legal notices section or by filling out the contact form in the Contact section, or by email at contact@bazncamp.com. The Seller will make every effort to handle complaints promptly and provide an appropriate response.

26. Applicable Law

French law governs the pre-contractual relations between the Client and the Seller, as well as these general terms and conditions and any contract concluded between the Client and the Seller via the Website.

27. Acceptance of the T&Cs

By signing these T&Cs, the participants or their legal representative declare that they have read and accept all the conditions without reservation.
