Baz’n Camp present at a major tournament in Los Angeles
The Baz’n Camp “Destination USA” program once again lived up to all expectations in February 2025. Over the course of two intense weeks in Los Angeles, campers experienced a full immersion in the world of American basketball, combining competitions, high-level encounters, and cultural discoveries. Here's a look back at a journey that was as enriching as it was unforgettable.
Among the highlights of the trip, the NBA games were a true peak of excitement. In electrifying atmospheres, the youth had the chance to attend several legendary matchups. They saw Kawhi Leonard in action with the Clippers and were thrilled by the LeBron James–Luka Dončić duel during a Lakers vs. Mavericks showdown. It was a unique opportunity to witness the biggest stars of the game at the highest level and to understand the level of performance demanded in the league.
But the experience didn’t stop at the NBA. Campers also attended a G-League game—the NBA’s official development league—where they met and talked with Sidy Cissoko, a French player now with the Portland Trail Blazers. This special moment allowed the youth to ask questions to someone who once walked the same path they are on and to gain a real insight into the realities of elite basketball.
Another unforgettable experience was discovering the NCAA through a high-intensity matchup between USC and UCLA. This dive into American college basketball showed the players just how much commitment, discipline, and intensity are required from the student-athlete level. It was a true source of inspiration for those dreaming of one day earning a U.S. college scholarship.
Throughout this adventure, the campers were accompanied by two well-known basketball content creators: Brice Coyère (Brisco) and Mathys Gilot (HandleYourGame). Their presence made it possible to capture the energy, emotions, and behind-the-scenes moments of the trip—offering the Baz’n Camp community an authentic glimpse into this extraordinary experience.
Destination USA is not just a trip; it is an experience of personal and athletic growth—an opening to the world and the endless possibilities that basketball can offer. February 2025 marked a new generation of campers, now more motivated than ever to pursue their dreams.
